DSSC with PEDOT-Carrageenan Electrolyte as Learning Media for Photovoltaic Concept Physics

Abstract This study aims to create a DSSC using PEDOT-Carrageenan-based electrolyte as learning media for photovoltaic physics concepts. research was experimental conducted in the laboratory of subdepartment education, Tadulako University. In this study, making process used substrate made from TCO-FTO polymer. The TiO 2 photoelectrode layer deposited doctor blade technique and Ruthenizer dye-sensitizer platinum on counter electrode sputtering technique. Process parameters that affect characteristics solar cells were analyzed measured I-V characteristic curve. samples consisted several types PEDOT-Carrageenan electrolytes, including Kappa, Lambda Iota. results voltage measurements each sample prototype obtained quite well at 91.8 mV Kappa 1:2 short circuit current reached 57.6 uA. best cell produces an efficiency 0.0003333728 %. It indicates can be by PEDOT-Carragenan tool
